The Winegrowers Association of Georgia is hosting a special three-day event this month where wine lovers and enthusiasts can sample some of North Georgia’s premiere wines from a budding list of wineries.

The 5th Annual Wine Highway Weekend begins on March 19 and will run through March 21. Because the weekend has become so popular, members of the association have decided to add an extra day.

Participating wineries will be hosting special tasting of their fine wines for the wine highway travelers. Each tasting is designed to provide an optimal on-the-go experience to insure tasters will have enough time to visit all of the participating wineries.

This is a great opportunity for wine enthusiasts in the Atlanta Metro area to get a taste of the state’s finest wines without traveling too far from home. If you have never experienced the wineries of North Georgia, this event is for you. You can have an amazing wine sampling experience while enjoying the early Spring beauty of the North Georgia Mountains.
