We are a month away from one of North Georgia’s favorite festivals. Join us for the 14th annual Bear on the Square Mountain Festival. This is the weekend that residents and visitors look forward to. Dahlonega’s culturally rich festival begins on April 16th -18th.

During the spring, the North Georgia foothills come alive with the familiar sounds of  blue grass music. Dahlonega’s downtown area will enjoy the talents of: Michael Cleveland & the Flamekeepers, Dixie Bee-Liners, John Lilly, and also Jesse McReynolds and the Virginia Boys and many more of your favorite musicians.

In addition to Dahlonega’s great variety of shops and galleries we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of some of  the southeasts’s most talented artists. For those of you that prefer shopping, stop by and browse this year’s selection and choose from one-of-a-kind  hand-made quilts, pottery, art,  candles, and folkart.

If you have always wanted to learn about music, they will offer various workshops on Blue Grass music and the history behind it.
