Author Pat Pittard Will Be Visiting Achasta Later This Month
Southern Author Pat Pittard of Bearfoot, A Northbounder will be making a special visit to Achasta this month. He will explain what motivated him to take his journey north on the Appalachian Trail, his experiences, and the life lessons he learned on his wilderness adventure.
A university of Georgia graduate and a distinguished alumni, Pittard is a man of much accomplishment. Among many things, this includes his 2,000-mile hike on the Appalachian Trail.
Pittard currently holds a faculty position as Distinguished Executive in Residence at the Terry School of Business and is an expert in executive level human capital matters. It’s also no secret that his ideas, knowledge, and opinions are highly regarded. He is widely quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and Business Week.
So what made a successful businessman like Pittard head into the wild? You will have to join us here at Achasta to find out for yourself.
We will be hosting Pat Pittard on April 29th at 5:30 p.m. at the Achasta Clubhouse. The cost is $10 per person and that includes a glass of wine, beer, or soda.
