Starting in May, North Georgia Mountain residents and visitors will be able to enjoy live music every Friday evening in the beautiful Hancock Park in downtown Dahlonega.  

Shows will be held on Friday nights starting this week and will end in October right before the brisk fall weather creeps in.  

This year’s first concert will be on May 7 at 6:30 p.m. and will feature the band Emerald Rose.  Known for their rousing blend of vocal harmonies, Celtic and world music instrumentation, diverse songwriting, and rocking style, Emerald Rose is sure to be an entertaining and exuberant show.  Think rock Celtic.  

The summer will be chalked full of live performances right in the middle of historic downtown Dahlonega.  While you’re in Dahlonega, be sure to check out some of the local art shops, wine tasting rooms, and award-winning cuisine.  You and your loved ones should consider enjoying a wonderful meal before you head to the Friday night concert in Hancock Park.
