The 2010 Georgia Fine Wine Festival will be hosted on the grounds of Blackstock Vineyards and Winery here in Dahlonega. Participants will receive a passport wine glass for each wine tasting from participating wineries. Expected attendees include Wolf Mountain, Tiger Mountain, Sautee-Nacoochee, Crane Creek, BlackStock, Butterducks, Montaluce, Frogtown, and Chateau Elan.

The event price will vary depending on how many days you participate. A two-day ticket is $50 and a one-day ticket is $35. A non-wine ticket is $15 and children are admitted free.

Admission includes two $5 food tickets that can be used at one of the many participating restaurants including Corkscrew Cafe, Blue Bicycle, Nacoochee Grill, Nacoochee Village Tavern, BackPorch Oyster Bar, and more.

This year’s festival will feature almost 50 Georgia wines, many of which are made right here in the North Georgia Mountains. In addition to the food and wine there will be organized arts and crafts, music, a petting zoo, and vineyard trolley tours.
