This month’s RiverFest event at Achasta will be full of family fun and outdoor adventure. Activities will begin around 4:00 pm on June 18 and last until 8:00 pm that evening.

Activities include gold panning, canoeing, horseshoes, and more. Along with these fun-filled activities will be food from the Parkside grill including S’mores for dessert. This month’s event will also include special guests from the surrounding North Georgia Mountain area.

The Goldrush Trout Unlimited chapter, Richard’s Custom Walking Sticks and Steve’s Jellies and Birdhouses will all be in attendance to participate in all of the fun.

The best part about this event is that it is all right here in the Achasta community. Residents won’t need to go very far to enjoy the serene views of the Chestatee River and the backdrop of the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Residents enjoy all of the activities at this month’s RiverFest on a daily basis making Achasta the perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts.
