The 7th Race in the National Ultra Endurance Series is coming to the city of Dahlonega.

The Fools Gold Mountain Bike Race is a 50 and 100-mile race that will include challenging sections of long, sustained climbs among the North Georgia Mountains.

The North Georgia Mountains are popular among local riders because of their challenging climbs and scenic views. The Fools Gold Mountain Bike Race is apart of the National Ultra Endurance Series. There will be tons of prizes for participants and special rewards for individual rider accomplishments like reaching certain points of the course first.

Three breweries are sponsoring the race: Terrapin Beer, Sweetwater Brewing Co., and Yazoo Brewing Company. All breweries will be in attendance and will be providing prizes and refreshments.

Even if you’re not an avid rider, this year’s race should be a fun and exciting event for everyone. There will refreshments and food for sale for non-participants as well.
