Rainbow Children’s Home has announced its Lobster Boil Dinner fundraiser for the fall.
The dinner will include cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, door prizes, and a brief program. The main course will consist of a one and half pound or more live Maine lobster. The meal also includes clam chowder, fresh Maine blueberry crisp, and all of the “Down-East” Maine extras. Included with each meal are two wine or beer tickets and a cash bar will also be available.
This fundraiser will support the Rainbow Children’s Home which provides care and shelter for abused and neglected North Georgia girls ages 12 to 17. The Home serves Cherokee, Dawson, Forsyth, Hall, Lumpkin, and White counties. Most of the Home’s funding comes from the Georgia State Department of Family and Children Services fundraising. Funding also comes from donations from individuals and businesses.
Tickets to the Lobster Boil Dinner are $100 and RCH recommends purchasing your tickets early because seating is limited. You can purchase tickets online at www.rainbowchildrenshome.org . For more information call Melinda Rollins-Frauso, Executive Director, at 706-864-5110.
