We are excited to announce the first Achasta Veterans Golf Tournament.  With the help of the community’s Veteran’s Association, Achasta hopes to make this a popular tournament that will benefit veterans and their families every year.

The proceeds from this tournament will go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.  This foundation provides full scholarship grants to the surviving children of special operations personnel who lost their lives in operational training or missions and immediate financial assistance to those wounded.  It also provides family counseling.

There is still much information for this tournament to come but we suggest you go ahead and mark your calendars now.  The date of the tournament is November 8, 2010 and it will be played right here at Achasta.

Entry fee is $150 and includes registration gifts, round of golf, box lunch, and prizes.  We still need sponsors for this tournament so if you are interested or know anyone who is, please contact John McGarity or Paul Dalton to learn more.
