The 8th Annual Wild Game and Red Wine Festival pairs some of the area’s finest wines with wild game deliquesces such as venison and quail.

Every Sunday this month, the winery will host its 8th Annual Wild Game and Red Wine Festival in the North Georgia Mountains.  Participants will enjoy the finest red wines Wolf Mountain Vineyards has to offer.  This year’s menu was specially crafted by Executive Chef Daniel Atwood to complete the winery’s fine red wines.

The buffet’s menu includes venison and black bean chili with sweet cornbread and mushroom strudels with Gorgonzola sauce.  Also included is grilled quail over saffron pearl pasta and herb pistachio crusted chicken with cranberry glaze. This year’s brunch costs $30 per person.  For an additional cost, wine is available by the glass or bottle.  Seating begins around 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Wolf Mountain also serves lunch Thursday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Vineyard Café.
