Come Out For A Fun Day Of Shooting With Achasta
Achasta residents will have the chance to enjoy some sport clay shooting at the Etowah Valley Game Preserve on Thursday December 2, 2010, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We'll meet at the Achasta Clubhouse foyer at 9:15 a.m. and head over to the Etowah Valley Game Preserve for a 10 a.m. start.
Participants will have a choice of two different options for the day.
1. Trigger Happy - 50 Sporting clays and call it a day ($24 with cart for the clays; shotgun rental $20, shells $7/box). Two boxes of shells will be needed on this option.
2. The Elmer Fudd - 50 Sporting clays, stay for lunch, and go on a guided quail hunt in the afternoon ($230 for the day; shotgun rental $20, shells $7/box, breasting $1.25/bird up to 12 birds). Three boxes of shells will be needed on this option.
Please RSVP for this event at Achasta.net and let us know which of the above options you will be participating in. RSVP deadline is Monday, November 29th. This trip is weather permitting.
The Etowah Valley Game Preserve is located in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. In addition to sporting clays, the preserve offers a full range of upland hunting options. Whether its quail, chukka, or pheasant, the friendly folks at the preserve can set you up with an all-day or half-day hunt.
