On December 3rd and 4th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., North Georgia residents and visitors will get to experience approximately 100 different nativity scenes with influences from all around the world.
Nativity scenes from Europe, Africa, South American, Central America, and North America will be on display for this culturally rich event. There will also be crèches designed by Native American and Appalachian craftsman. A full collection of official White House Christmas ornaments, various trees, wreaths, and Christmas villages will also be on display.
The Christmas House - World Nativity Traditions is presented by the Dahlonega Woman’s Club and will be held at the Community House on the corner of N. Park & Hawkins St, just two blocks from the cherished square of Dahlonega. Admission is $8 a person and all proceeds from this year’s display will be going to the local community. Tickets are available at Paul Thomas Chocolate or at the door. You can also get tickets by emailing ynativities@yahoo.com.
