The Family Heritage Program at Achasta offers a unique opportunity for Achasta members. Members of the program will grant access of member privileges to their immediate family members. This includes parents, grandparents, children, and spouses.

On August 28th, Achasta residents are invited to participate in an action packed canopy tour in the North Georgia Mountains.
The 2010 Spirit of Achasta, “A Walk That Matters” benefitting the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation will be held on Saturday, September 25 in and around the Achasta community. Last year’s inaugural event raised over $18,000 for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and our goal this year is to raise $25,000.
The mission of this fundraiser walk is to not only to raise money for the foundation but to also raise awareness about the disease.

Spring in the North Georgia Mountains begins in mid March. As we usher in daylight savings time on March 14th, spring’s official date is not too far behind on March 20th. Enjoy North Georgia’s colorful display of dogwoods, azaleas, wildflowers, rhododendrons and the beautiful wild daffodils.
Other points of interest are in North Georgia’s State Parks. If your interests lie with camping, fishing, grilling and exploration, here are a few parks that you can visit: Amicalola Falls, Black Rock Mountain, Red Top Mountain, Talullah Gorge, and Unicoi.
